Hydroponics Gardening

General Hydroponic plants produce a unique scent that you may occasionally smell, usually at dusk and dawn. Sometimes they can be strong enough to attract attention. Although, it is not a major challenge for your garden, however it can be annoying and unhygienic sometime. Regular cleaning is a top priority for hydroponic garden to eliminate any sort of bad scent. You need to track the smell and control it by installing an ozone generator. The longer period of time the odor is exposed to ozone air purifier generator, the better the odor is destroyed. The ozone purifier treatment is best accomplished with the lowest fan CFM (cubic feet per minute). Ozone generator is a powerful disinfectant and deodorizer. With an electronic ozonator it would be easier for you to adjust the increasing number of garden odor molecules. Hence, by using simple sniff test on a regular basis, you can be assured that 100% of the odors have been eliminated.

Organic matter can also create odor problem in your hydroponic garden. You need to take steps to avoid these problems by using non-organic medium for your hydroponic systems. To manage grow room scent you can use carbon filter in your grow room as carbon is an effective odor eliminator. Carbon filters can operate at a maximum temperature of 80 degree C. They are less expensive and require replacement every 12 to 24 months.

Do not forget to replace your nutrient solution every week or every other week if possible so that you can keep your nutrient solutions stable and clean. To manage the scent, make certain that the materials and fertilize that you use in your hydroponic systems are designed specifically for hydroponics gardening.
